The Department of Distance Education of the Tamil University was started with the aim to facilitate the Tamil people living in different parts of the world to learn all the subjects in Tamil Language to enrich their knowledge. The courses offered through the mode of Distance Education by the Tamil University are approved by the Principal Institute of Distant Education, New Delhi and also by University Grants Commission.
Tamil Isai Kalloori run by Tamil Isai Sangam has been effectively functioning as a study Centre of Distance Education of Tamil University from the year 2016 onwards. Hence, those who would like to continue their education in Tamil Language, Music, Dance and in Arts and Science thorough the mode of Distance Education can approach the office at Tamil Isai Kalloori and avail the opportunities to attain knowledge and earn the degrees and diplomas in the respective disciplines.
